7 December 2008 St. Augustine's Thanksgiving Appeal.
The St. Augustine's parish leaders enjoin all to come to the Sunday Masses and know more about what is going on in the parish. Come and give your generous support. Information and pledge cards for the mini thanksgiving appeal are available on the back table. We thank you for your generosity.
5, 12 December 2008 Parish Revelers in City Streets.
All parishioners are invited to join in singing joyous Christmas carols at the streets of Melbourne to share the happy news of the celebration of Christ's birth to everyone around. Assembly will be at 7:30pm at the St. Augustine's Church and will kick off with prayer and worship.
5 December 2008 First Friday Overnight Vigil.
Start the month of December with quiet time with the Lord, alone with Him. Come to the overnight adoration at St. Augustine's Church on Friday at 9:00 pm till 8:00 am Saturday. It will close with a beautiful Mass at 8:00 am and will be followed by a community breakfast at Bethany.
24 December 2008 Christmas Celebrations.
There will be two Masses on Christmas Eve, Wednesday,
the 24th of December:
Eucharist - 9:00 pm (Christmas Carols at 8:30 pm)
Eucharist - 12:00 midnight (Christmas Carols at 11:30 pm)

On Christmas Day, Thursday, the 25th of December:
Eucharist - 10:30 am (Christmas Carols at 10:00 am)
31 December 2008 New Year's Eve Celebrations.
The Mass to celebrate New Year's Eve will be at 11:00pm at St. Augustine's Church. It will be followed by a BBQ for everyone.
December 2008 Christmas Hampers for the Needy.
Relying on the generosity of the people, we wish to give away Christmas hampers to the needy. Please come and donate non-perishable food items (from the list found at the back of the Church. There will be a large box at the back where you can drop your donations. For inquiries, please call Blanche 0421707613.

St. Augustine's Church warmly invites one and all interested in becoming Catholic to RCIA meetings every Sunday at 12 noon at the Parish Catholic Charismatic Renewal Centre at the back of the Church.
